Tulog Na

The Insomniac

Not been sleeping for 3 days(but not straight, I’ll be dead if I do that) and yeah, now my body is haunting me from depriving it from a good na-night sleep. I caught colds and its even made worse by the AC of my office.
I have been sleeping “crazy” since college because of my graveyard shift duties. I think my body clock adapted to it and so I’ve been insomniac for about 6 years now. I’m surprised I am still alive hahahha..
Since I have sleeping problems, I made some solutions to it. Sadly, it all failed. My friend suggested that I take Benadryl( primarily used for allergies) because it has sedating effects and that would make me fall asleep. I’ve took some it before and it help me to rest but then realized that I might get dependent to the drug so I decided to stopped.
I’ve been through the traditional stuff like counting sheeps, thinking about a black hole et cetera et ce tera but all concludes to one conclusion- it all failed. it doesn’t work for me. I drank warm milk to fall asleep, the milk was warm,the milk was sweet. But yeah, another failed attempt. The good thing about drinking milk aside from its sweet,calcium booster and warm (hahaha) I found out that I’m lactose intolerant hahaha. From then on I quit trying new things to fall asleep and accepted the fact that I will be an insomniac forever.

May paraan yan... ako ganun din eh.. pero nahanap ko na kung paano ako makakatulog para naman di ako laging deprived of sleeping... hehehehehe... kaya mo yan!

ay mahirap yan.. hnd ako makarelate kya wala akong alam.. hehe! ako basta malagay lang ako sa bed, sleep na agad.. wawa ka naman.. exercise daw bfore going to bed, mainam daw na pampatulog..

Try mo magising same time everyday - like 5am. Then try do some jogging or light exercises. Then, tulog mo nalang ulit. Important thing is, you wake up at the same time everyday. Do this for 21 days, and there's a good chance hindi ka na insomniac :D

naging effective to sakin for one week. after that wala naring epek hahaha

its good na you stopped taking benadryl. na-lolower down ang immune status pag nagattake tayo ng antihistamines (;

Ang sabi nila. Kapag di ka nakakatulog ng maayos ng matagal. Darating ang araw na hahanapin ng katawan mo ang kulang na tulog.
Hay mahirap yun, naranasan ko na. Madalas ako bangungutin. Nagigising na lang ako sa sarili kong sigaw. Minsan di ako makasigaw, gising ako pero parang panaginip pa rin. tapos di na ko makatulog ulit.
